You will also be taken on a deep and hands-on dive into the entire process of catching, banding and releasing birds for conservation with our trained Birding Specialist. This up close and personal experience of a lifetime will be one you never forget.

All birds are captured & banded with federal & provincial permits in place by trained and certified professionals. We allow up to 16 participants per event to ensure the welfare of all animals (and our guides).

His passion for the environment and birds specifically is unmatched and shines through in his work with the Biosphere as our Field Technician and Bird Specialist. With over two decades of experience banding birds alongside world leading bird experts, Mike will ignite your curiosity whether this is a new passion or you have a list a mile long.
