Experience the Biosphere allows tourists to create their own 1-to-3-day experiences, sampling art,
cuisine, adventures and the unique ecology of Saskatchewan’s only UNESCO designated Biosphere Region. Tour operators will be able to set their own rates, tours and schedules and payments will be automated. The Redberry Lake Biosphere will lead the project, implement a full communications plan and facilitate development of new experiences for prospective operators across the entire region!

Experience the Biosphere is a community based tourism program designed to diversify our regional economy by showcasing our backyard in authentic ways. From the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, through rolling prairies with hidden lakes and into the Thickwood Hills Forest, there’s something for everyone in Saskatchewan’s only UNESCO designated biosphere. Thriving Indigenous, Ukrainian, Doukhobor and Rural cultures collide making this region even more unique. The opportunities are endless and indeed that is what we strive to create.
